LoadWatch

The project develops an innovative and competitive fibre-optical loads measurement system. It includes plug-and-play type sensors, interrogator and single-mode data analysis software. The system monitors the loads on rotor blades for condition based maintenance and individual pitch control of wind turbines as well as for many other loads monitoring applications.
