Innovations such as autonomous shipping, efficient logistic supply chain development, remote control and innovative inspection methods are foreseen to be developed for the offshore wind sector. In connection to the energy transition innovations in conversion and storage of electricity are developed. A large consortium sees a large opportunities to achieve larger business volume in Port of Den Helder. In this project scenarios for the period 2019 to 2050 are analyzed and research is performed to determine the potential impact on Port of Den Helder.
